I was editing your marketing 1 sample slider for my site and I wanted to add more layers (that I can do without any problems) but I don't know how to edit the transition timings to do what I want (I want them to follow one another in an endless loop) and It seems I am not able to find information on how to do it either...
Would be really grateful if you were to help me...
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
To recreate this effect you will need to use the settings located in the Loop or Middle Transition section of the corresponding layers. You will need to enable the Yoyo, set the Count to -1 and time them with Duration and Start when and modifiers. You might also need to set the 'Keep this layer visible until: Forever' depending on your setup so the Infinite works properly. I'd recommend to use the timeline view as well. It's located in the preview window next to the Layer options, it can help a great deal with the timings.
Please also note that this effect can only be achieved with 2 layers at the moment. Infinitely looping more than 2 elements at the same time and place like this, will not be timed properly unfortunately. So you can only use 2 text layers curently. This option/effect will be improved in future updates, but these are the current limitations.
Thank you very much for your kind answer, I already knew where I had to fiddle but I just could not get it right, (although I tried, believe me). For your answer I understand this is not doable at this moment with more than 2 elements (I wanted 4 or more).
So I'll just have to wait for an upgrade (do you plan to have it out anytime soon?) or try a different approach (like creating "couples" embeded in each other: something like one text and a long timed blank and during that long time another couple (like this with a shorter blank an a starting later...) AND another couple like this one (with a shorter blank), and so on... But the amount of work involved in synchronizing all this is just too much to make it possible...
So I guess I'll try a different kind of slider for now.
Thank you for the feedback. Improving this is on our to-do list, but there is no ETA for it yet, so it will probably not come out with the next release yet. If we can help with anything else, let us know.
