If you would like to start your slide and layers together, you will need to utilize the Time Shift setting. It's located in the Slide Options -> Slide Timing section. With this setting you can sync your slide and layers so they start at the same time. Also, to remove any layer movement it's recommend to set the Offsets to zero and disable Fade for the corresponding layers.
