My 3 slides no longer display on my homepage.  All I see is white space.  This recently occurred in the last 2 weeks.

    Hello Melanie,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

We've received similar reports recently and they were related to PHP. We believe this issue is most likely related to the PHP version you're using on the web server as well. We discovered that PHP 7.2 can cause issues like this. Since that version was only released recently, we wouldn't recommend to use it on production sites. It is a custom in the industry, as new and major releases often suffer from various issues.

Could you please check if you're using PHP 7.2 ? And if yes, we'd recommend to roll back a version until a fix is released (in form of 7.2.X.), it will most likely solve this.

    Thank you Attila,

According to my WP dashboard, I am running PHP 5.6.30.

Thank you for the feedback. That is indeed strange. I'll let the dev team look into this further to see if they can find anything, and I'll get back to you shortly with the results.

Thank you.  Is there any update?

    Hello,

As we can see your slider does not have any background color set, so it is basically transparent, therefore the site's white color behind it is showing. Furthermore, all of your layers are also white, so they are not visible on the site's white color.

Did you accidentally remove the slider's background ? In any case, if you set a background color again for the slider, that should solve the issue.

My website was completed by a company a few years ago.  I never touched any of the settings in Layerslider.  I went to my homepage on Monday and the slides were no longer displayed.  I would just like to recover the original settings put in place by the company.

I understand that, but someone or something removed or changed the mentioned option. The plugin does not edit sliders by itself.
To correct the slider you will need to re-add the slide background color. The option to do that is located in the Slider Settings.

Can you help me locate the pictures that were once used in my sliders?  When I go  to LayerSlider, I see previews, but when I go to edit the slider, I don't see any pictures loaded.   I attached screenshots.

    Thanks!

Unfortunately we cannot really tell what settings or images the slider had before. But the plugin provides a revision option that you could utilize. I'd recommend to copy your slider(s) first to create fallback save, and then try earlier revisions of the slider that has missing images. One of the previous revisions should have the images as well in my opinion. The revision area can be accessed from the slider's list.

You can close this ticket.  I recreated most of the slides and I now see them on the website again.  I will open a separate ticket for another issue I have.
