the call to action on the popup video is not rendering on mobile devices.  I need it work...it doesn't show until the video is completed.  I need the calls to actions to show 3 seconds into the video just like on a desktop.  I need this fixed please.  I need it to show on mobile devices.

    Hello Troy Mangone,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

I have checked your site but for me the popup slider and the call to actions are working the same on desktop and mobile.

Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?

In case not, could you please specify on what OS/browser/device are you experiencing this exactly ?

  • Troy Mangone replied

no they are absolutely not working the same...if you press and watch the video the call to action does not display during video play back on a mobile phone.... see the screen shot...im on a iphone with wifi connection no less and it still does not work.

They actually do work the same. We've tested it on multiple iOS devices and mobiles, and the buttons were there, the same way in each case. In light of this, it is most likely a localized issue on your end, probably related to your browser or its addons/extensions. Please try to temporary disable any extensions or blocks/filters you have installed to see if that works. Please also check it with a different browser and different device, to see if you can reproduce it on anything else.

I am using both chrome and safari and they are not rendering on either.  they render when the video is paused or stopped but NOT during playback.  See attached images...its the same with either browser..both picture that the call to action are visible the video is paused...the one where it is not visible is during play back.

what setting would cause that if it were a browser issue? I looked into my settings on both browser and see that would cause that.  It doesnt work on any of my friends phones either so Im sorry but it does NOT work...I need a fix please.

    thanks

Thank you for the feedback. That is indeed strange, we were not able to reproduce it on our end so far. We will utilize more installations and devices to see if we can find anything, and get back to you with the results. We appreciate your patience while we're working towards your ticket.

    Hello again,

I've consulted with the dev team and unfortunately it is going to be a mobile browser limitation.

It seems like on certain mobile devices the autoplay is disabled and replaced by a user interaction trigger. This method also applies fullscreen, so when the video starts playing you no longer see the slider itself, but the device's native video player.

Unfortunately this custom method is a mobile restriction, and we cannot adjust it in the slider. This is how some mobile OS work.
