Right Click save Images

    Hello,

    In the sliders that I am building, for some images I am getting usual right click and save image option. But for some it is something like in the attached file.  How do i get this (no save image) option for all images?  Images in these sliders have been put as background images but still different right click options.  Sample URLs:

    Hello aviralsan,

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

    I've checked the URLs you provided, but in both sliders the slides/images can be right click  saved for me at the moment. The screenshot you sent also has the save option. I do not see any differencies between sliders/slides currently. Have you managed to solve the problem in the meantime ? In case not, which slider/slide should we look at exactly ?

    I overlooked save as in the screenshot shared.  Thank you highlighting it.  However, the difference that I was talking about is attached in the word doc.  You will see two different right click menus.  I will prefer the first one as it downgrades the image resolution marginally on saving.  If you visit the home page - www.avisanimages.com all photographs except last (photo of table / sofa in room) have save option as webpage.  Only in last photograph you can actually save the image by right click.  I will prefer the webpage option.  How do I achieve this for every photograph?  All photographs are as background image and not layer in this slider.

    Secondly, is there any way to remove / disable save option in slider?  If not, will request if this can be considered in future versions.  Atleast image resolution should downgrade considerably (less than 800x600) on saving.  I am not keen to disable right click altogether.

    Thank you for the feedback, I will contact and consult with the development team regarding this and get back to you with the results.

    Hello again,

    At the moment there is no option in the plugin to contol this. Whether the images can be saved or not and the type of the right clink menu is usually up to the browser. Also, if there is no other element over the image (can be an invisible one as well) it can be saved, and if there is another over it, it can't be saved. If you want to prevent the images from being saved you can create an empty/invisible layer (100% x 100% DIV) and position it on top of the image layers. In this case make sure to not set it over other clickable buttons for example.

    Thanks Attila, this solution works for me and has been implemented successfully.   However, can you pass a suggestion to the technical team for incorporation in future versions if deemed okay?  Suggestion is that slider can still be saved as webpage.  Hence, when someone saves the slider as webpage, the resolution of images should reduce to 900X600 or lesser.

    Another question that I have now is related to - https://avisanimages.com/life-documentary-photography-portfolio/

    On the first slide you will see a black strip with Life and Documentary written on it.  I had kept the width to 100% for this bar / layer and placed it at the bottom edge of the slide.  But when viewing in the browser, it is not so.   How can I make it run end to end (left to right) and place it at the bottom edge of the screen?

    Thanks,

    Aviral

    Thank you for the feedback.

    To make the layer's width always fit the slider's, you will need to enter 100% to its Width field in the Styles tab.

    To keep the whole slider in the viewport, you will need to select the Full size slider layout and select Hero scene mode for it. This option will always match the slider's height to the viewport, so it will always cover 100% of the browser window's height, regardless of the viewing environment.

    Yes that is what I have done.  In style > width I have entered 100% and height 5%.  Height is coming fine after making this change live but width seen is less than 100%.  Secondly, in the editor,  where I have placed this layer, in browser the layer is not at the same place.  It is few more pixels up.   In editor, layer is placed at 850px from top. URL - https://avisanimages.com/best-life-documentary-photography-portfolio/

    Secondly, in the sliders, I want to have a icon which when clicked, the slideshow goes full screen.  I know how to place icon but I cannot find the command in links and attributes to go full screen.  How do I find this command?

    Thanks,

    Aviral

    I also wish to know how to add custom fonts which are not google fonts?   I have ttf/svg/woff/woff2 files of the font with me if required and I have also loaded this font in the theme.

    Thank you for the feedback. I'll let the dev team take a look at the problems to see what they can find, and get back to you shortly.

    The right click context menu is entirely controlled by the browser. This is why you can only prevent the clickability with 'tricks', and that is why there is no way to provide the browser with an alternate version of the website when the "save webpage" option is used.

    At the moment there is no built-in option for such fullscreen smart link, but you can create one by using the LayerSlider API. For example you can apply an "enterfullscreen" named class on any of the layers or logos you want to use in the Link & Attributes section. And then select the Event Callback tab at the top and copy the following to the sliderDidLoad field:

    jQuery('.enterfullscreen').click( function() {
        jQuery( slider.target ).dblclick();
    });

    You shouldn't add percentage values for height, the slider automatically resizes proportionally the content's height and the percentage might need to get changed depending on the aspect ratio. Just use a fix height value and the plugin will do the rest.

    The 100% is good for the width. It might not stretch from side to side because you did not set the "sides of the screen" option for the Position setting in the Styles section.

    Regarding the fonts, at the moment there is no option in the plugin to add them, only Google Fonts are supported. If you posess the necessary web development knowledge you could edit the theme files to load them, but it's not recommended for inexperienced users.
