Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Hello
I have two license, I'm a webdeisgner and using your plugin for many websites.
Sometimes I activate it on a test website, deleting the tests websdite without desactivate my Item Purchase Code.
Is there a way to desactivate it after to use it again ?
Thanks
Hello chrisgaillard,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
We have launched a website that you can use to manage and reset the activations of your purchase code, please refer to the following URL: https://kreaturamedia.com/reset-activations
LayerSlider does have its own auto-update feature, that you can use to update the plugin with just one click: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html#updating-auto
Unfortunately it seems like your theme is interfering with it. We have faced this problem before with another theme from Elegant Themes. They are bundling LayerSlider into their themes and forcing this custom verification progress on it. Sadly, their method does not handle standalone LayerSlider plugins differently, it overwrites the default update method regardless where it comes from.
As the issue is caused by their custom method and inattention, we cannot solve it from our end unfortunately. They will need to change this custom verification so LayerSlider users can utilize the auto-update with their themes as well.
I'd recommend to contact the author of your theme with this case, they should be able to provide more information on this and hopefully a solution as well.
In the meantime, as a workaround, you could temporary disable your theme (switch to a default WP one) so it does not interfere with LayerSlider, so you can update it.
