    Hi,

I am very new to both WP and Layerslider so I used a pre-existing template to form a slide as it was the easiest way.

I have gone into Links and Attributes to link the button to another page and when hovering over the the button on the slide the button does appear to be linked the correct place however upon clicking on the button nothing happens. Where am I going wrong please as I cannot figure this out?

    Kind regards

    Seth

    Hello again,

It seems like there is a script on your site that is interfering and causing this issue. Please try to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme to see if that helps and to locate the faulty item. Please let us know of the results.

    Hi Attila,

I have done as instructed and one by one deactivated each plugin followed by testing the link. In addition to this I have swapped themes to the default WP themes.

Unfortunately none of this worked and the button still will not link to another page on the site. Do you have any other solutions or can you possibly take a look?

    Kind regards

    Seth

Thank you for the feedback. Please set up a temporary WP login for us, so we can look around in the back-end, to see if we can find anything else. Make sure to set the message to private so others cannot see it.

    Hello,

The problem was that the linking was set to scroll (scroll to element), so it tried to search for and scroll to the set element, but since it was an URL, it didn't find it on the page, so nothing happened.

I've set this option back to the default 'open on new page' value and it works properly. Please check if this was the required result.
