It woks fine on my desktop; but is just unreadable on the smartphone... takes for ever to be displayed; doesn't support teh horizontal to vertical postion of the screen and finally gets stuck in the middle of a sllide...
The slider has been configured in responsive mode and no restriction has been defined for the slider on a responsive mode...
What is going on, and what can I do to make this slider being usable from a smartphone ? (using a samsung S6 for the testing)

The plugin resizes the sliders proportionally on all devices to fit the viewing environment. It's possible that some layers or the slider itself becomes too small (or do not fit the layout properly anymore) on certain devices. To work around this you have two options.
Since version 6 you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet). This new feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device. Furthermore, you also have the option to set a minimum font size for texts on mobiles.
Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content for desktop/mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device.
1) At this point, the issue is not related to how the slider is displayed... it relates to how much time it takes to have one slide displayed... Since the slider is based on a model you're providing I would not expect encountering theses kind of issues... Waht can be done to speed up the process when in responsive mode ?
2) I understand I could create 2 different sliders based on the different environment they will be used for... But then, I will have to call one slider or the other from a single point (with 2 different shortcodes) in the targeted page. How then ensuring the correct shortcode will be applied only considering the device the internet user is going to use when surfing that particular page ?...
I've checked your sliders on both an Android and iOS mobile device, but couldn't reproduce the problem. They were loading fine for me, switching slides was no problem either. LayerSlider fully supports mobile displays so there shouldn't be any issue with it.
Could you please specify on what OS/browser/device are you experiencing this exactly ?
In case of a dual slider setup, the mentioned Hide over and Hide under options would ensure that the correct one is loaded depending on the screen size.
The issue is the time it takes not the fact that layers not be displayed. It takes between 30 seconds to more than one minute to have a single layer be displayed (see attached screenshot showing appearance on hoizontal display... staying like this for 15-20 seconds for each items displayed
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S6
Android 5.0.2
browsers used : Firefox or Chrome
Screen : 5.10-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels at a PPI of 577 pixels per inch
What do you mean by dual slider ? When 2 sliders being on a single webpage ?
We have checked your site and sliders on additional devices (including Galaxy 6), but the load times were fine on all of them. The slideshows started (almost) immediately when the sliders were scrolled to viewport. We believe that this is a localized issue on your end.
Please check whether you experience this problem on any other device than the current one.
Also, please try to look for and temporary disable any addons/extensions your browsers might have, as they could also interfere.

Yes, I meant that by dual sliders.
