I've spent half my afternoon trying to figure out how to deactivate my layerslider plugin on one site so I can move it.
I dont remember the site I have it on as I have about 50 different sites.
Do you have an easy customer friendly, user friendly way to help me, or are you happy to let me waste an entire day of productivity playing hide-and-seek with your product!?
Rev slider makes this process simple and easy to find!
I'm sorry to hear that you had difficulties with the deactivation process. However, I can assure you that we don't have such tactics and it's not on purpose. Most customers just click on the Deactivate button in the plugin and they are all set. The fact that we allow multiple domains instead of just one and you don't have to register API keys and bother with emails makes our solution much more customer friendly than many others in my opinion.
We are in the process of completely modernizing our auto-update solution, product activation and license management. The upcoming changes will make any aspect of these much more easier. The URL you've managed to find is a temporary way until we introduce these changes, this is the reason why it's not promoted that heavily. However, we always provide this URL and help on those who need assistence due to special circumstances.
Let me add my voice to this chorus. I have just spent about two days trying to figure out how to de-activate . THERE IS NO DEACTIVATE BUTTON, contrary to what John is suggesting. This is VERY FRUSTRATING. I suggest, John, that before you give your STANDARD ANSWER, please realize that none of us have a lot of time on our hands to come here and complain if this has not been really nearly impossible to figure out.
This link for deactivating and migrating license SHOULD BE IN YOUR FAQ Page. That's how you make it available. We should not have to search for it for days. It should actually be part of the dashboard.
There is a deactivate button, please see the screenshot below. As mentioned, we are transitioning to a new solution, that's why it's not promoted that heavily since it's a temporary URL. However, it is still included in certain assets and you can ask for help at any time or search the ticket system for similar questions.

Heres an example if it helps! https://www.themepunch.com/purchase-code-deactivation/
After hours of wasted time I found your hidden attempt here
https://kreaturamedia.com/reset-activations/
You can barely find it in google without deep scanning previous pages, and it does not come up easily in your on page search.
I guess you figure if you piss your customers off enough they will be forced to buy another license?
Very disappointing to see such tactics! CLEARLY this was on purpose! Shame on you!

Please FIX THIS NOW because it is not funny!
