Error while attempting to export slider

I'm getting the following error when trying to export a slider to a new site.  This is the error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function fontsForSlider() on a non-object in /home/baytransit/public_html/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/wp/actions.php on line 947

Both the old site and the new one are on the same server, and it is a VPS so I have root access to make changes.  When checking the system settings, I see:

The PHP ZipArchive extension is needed to use the Template Store and import/export sliders with images.

Which is probably the culprit.  I did install install Archive_zip:

    Installed PHP Extension(s) and Application(s)

    Module Name Actions Archive_Tar (1.4.0)

    Archive_Zip (0.1.2)

And rebooted the server.  The message is still in your application.

If this is the reason I can't export, what exactly am I supposed to install to fix it?

    Hello diogeneese19348,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

It seems like you've installed the wrong one. What you need is the PHP ZipArchive, it is a separate installable extension. Your hosting can install it for you.

I checked the server.  We are on EasyApache3 and PHP 5.  I think the first thing I need to do is update to EasyApache4 and PHP 5.6.  Does that sound right to you?  I don't think the three things you are looking for are in the version of PHP we are using.

That seems right. LayerSlider requires PHP 5.3 or newer, the Multibyte String and PHP DOM extensions to be installed on your server to work properly. And of course the mentioned PHP ZipArchive extension as well for the import/export.

OK, I'll update the server this weekend when site traffic is low, and get back in touch.  I don't want to risk taking all the sites down during the week.
