    Hi there,

    Some of my elements are not always saved properly. It might work for 10 minutes but then it reverts or clears.

    Example:

    I write "0" in a text element (http://b3.ms/lkL9wqaVnyKG)

    I click save

    I load the slider

    It works fine

    Going back to the slider a day later, or hours later

    The 0 is suddenly gone, so the layer has no content

    I can't find a pattern in it. I tried it with the text elements with numbers "0", "2" etc.

    Also with settings like transitions http://b3.ms/yYLn7KwQnGgZ

    It's not because I haven't saved, it's happened 10+ times now.


    Ask ahead if I didn't describe it properly.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

    There is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.6.4.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict problem on your installation or a server configuration issue.
    To start troubleshooting please try to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default theme to see if that solves the issue.
    Please also check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WP sidebar for any related error messages that could provide more information.

    Hi again Attila,

    Since this ticket, I've been in contact with my server host and they have assured me that the issue is:

    1) Replicable. They can replicate it and verify there's an issue.

    2) Is not caused by plugins

    3) Is not caused by my theme

    4) Is not caused by server configurations

    In their words, the only thing left is the plugin. 

    I've still got the issue with "0"s and transition settings. 

    I can fix it by only changing one thing on a slider, clicking save, and refreshing the page. If I change more than one thing at a time or forget refreshing the page it reverts to the old settings.

    Can you please revisit this issue? Thanks.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the feedback.

    As I've mentioned there wasn't any issue like this in the recent releases of the plugin. No other user reported this so far, and we couldn't reproduce it on our end either. So this is almost certainly caused by a 3rd party factor, be that a server issue or a plugin/theme conflict.

    Have you checked the LayerSlider System Status ? Are there any notifications or errors there ?

    Did you went through with the 'trial & error' method by temporary disabling other items on your site ?

    Judging from your description, it might also be caused by some synchronization/backup solution that is resetting back the plugin to an earlier state. You could also try to look for this.

    1) LayerSlider system status: http://b3.ms/W1EnJvDxbnZR Everything seems okay and green ticks everywhere.

    2) Yes, I've disabled all other plugins on the site and disabled the theme. And the problem persists.

    3) My server host does have backup solutions, but they back up once a day, not per minute etc. 

    Anyway, I realise it's hard for you guys to troubleshoot this, so I guess I'll have to dig further/live with it/wait for others to potentially experience the same.

    Thank you for the feedback. If you set up a temporary WP login for us, we can also look into this further from your admin to see if we can find anything else.
