It's probably my stupid fault, but I cannot get the large grey textbox (see attachment) to show in the slider. The settings are the same as those for the red price tag. When I add another textbox, it will show, but when I make that box larger, it will vanish also.

How exactly did you try to add the textbox ? I've checked your slider and there is no such layer added into it currently. Have you tried to insert with HTML or other kind of code ?
