Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
Hello,
I have an error message when I want to integrate my slider on my homepage:
"Old jQuery issue
It looks like you are using an old version (1.7.2) of the jQuery library. LayerSlider requires at least version 1.8.0 or newer. Please update jQuery to 1.10.x or higher. Important: Please do not use the jQuery Updater plugin on WordPress. You can read more about it by clicking here. "
I did an update and used the Google CDN version of jQuery but it still does not work.
Can you help me with this problem, please?
Best regards,
Ismaël
Hello Ismaël,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
The problem is most likely that a plugin or theme is loading an old version of jQuery on your installation, causing this problem.
Please try to look for this interfering item. You could also try to troubleshoot it by temporary disabling other plugins and switching to a default WP theme to see what is the source.
