I am having a terrible time trying to get a responsive layout with a boxed website layout. When the slider is set to "responsive" max width 1310px and viewed on desktop all slides go right off stage to the right. Can't see 1/4 of the slides.
Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.
As I can see the slider is not correctly positioned in the page, that is why it reaches out of the site layout. I'd recommend to insert it to a different container/parent element that aligns with the boxed layout and contains the slider better.
Alternatively, you could also try to use a fullwidth slider layout, set a Max-width value and disable the Fit to screen width option, so it stays in its container.
One more thing I've noticed is that you are using the Responsive Under option. I'd recommend to remove this value alltogether. Since version 6 the plugin calculates this option by itself so you do not have to enter anything. The Responsive Under option is located in the Slider Settings -> Layout -> Fullwidth section. It is hidden by default so you have to enable the Show Advanced Settings button.
Thank you for the help. I am not really getting anywhere with this and I'm trying all the settings. I put the layerslider short code in a code block inside a container, set the appearance to full width, 1310px, and the background to contain, position center center. Now, the background and slides have 50px gap on both sides (custom css for the container doesn't do anything but offset the whole thing to the left by about 200px), the background color and controls are full width outside of the box layout, and when I reduce size of the browser window the slides get larger than website layout. Isn't layerslider designed for both box and full-width layout? Why is this such a problem?
Thank you for the feedback. We will troubleshoot this error further to see if it is indeed an Enfold related problem, and what you could do to prevent. Could you please set up a test page for us with the error that we can use ?
We haven't heard back from you yet, so I'm writing again. Did you manage to set up a test page where we can see and troubleshoot the boxed layout slider problem ? It would help us a lot.

You know, I think it's an issue with Enfold theme as others are having the same problem.
