I think we've gone over board with the amount of sliders we've added per page and believe this is slowing down our website considerably. However, until the last release, everything seemed fine?

There was no change in the latest update that might have resulted in this performance problem.
There is no limit for sliders/slides/layers you can use, but your web server configuration could prevent creating more content after a point, or slowing the site down in your case.
You could try to enable the Include scripts in the footer and Conditional script loading options in the Advanced settings section to increase your site's performance and decrease load times.
I'd also recommend to contact your hosting with this case, they could look for any limitation or server setting that could cause this.

So you'll see on http://eatwandsworth.com http://eatwandsworth.com/offers/ and http://eatwandsworth.com/blog/ we have a lot of sliders and the page load time is very slow. Is there a maximum amount of sliders we should load onto each page? It never used to load so slowly until the last plugin update.
Any help would be much appreciated.
