    Hi,

We are currently working on a different website (staged site) and I would like to add text that is rotating on the slider like this : http://preview.themeforest.net/item/adorn-a-minimal-and-stylish-woocommerce-theme/full_screen_preview/20020638?_ga=2.229946395.62996917.1508386527-1853364313.1470874459

I believe this slider is a revolution slider, but wanted to know if this Layer Slider would do it to?

    Cheers,

    Alex

    Hello Alex,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Yes, you should be able to achieve this effect with LayerSlider. You will need to loop the text layer in the background. The options you're lookin for are located in the Transitions -> Loop Or Middle Transition section. You will need to set a negative OffsetX so the layer moves to the left and then loop it, so it starts again. For a seamless effect you might need to set up two identical text layers that are following each other, so there is no break.

    Hello,

Unfortunately the Futura font is not part of the Google Fonts that our plugin uses, so you cannot add it through LayerSlider. However, if you load it from an external source to your site, you can still use it in the plugin and apply it on texts as well.

Regarding your settings. My colleagues and I will check on it to see what we can find and get back to you.

    Hello again,

We've logged in and corrected your settings. There was a lot that needed to be changed. We've set the width values to 100% under the Styles tab, set the Left value to 150% (to position the text layers outside of the canvas), set the loop to -200sw and infinite repeat (-1), and so on. You will see the exact settings that can be used as an example, if you check on the slider.

    Hi Attila,

Thanks so much for getting back to me regarding the Futura font and updating the slider. I have made note of those settings you have described now. Is there anything else I need to do to see it rotate? I haven't seen the rotating text on this slider yet. Am I missing another step? Did you see it rotate? I am using Version 61.0.3163.100 Google Chrome btw.

Also, I was wondering if it was possible to feature recent blog post in the slider automatically? Similar to this: http://stylemagazines.com.au/

Thank you again for your help with these last 2 questions. It's greatly appreciated.

Yes, we've set up the background text rotate in your slider so you should be able to see it if you start the slideshow in the preview window, or if you insert it to your site.

There is a dedicated feature for this in LayerSlider. It's called Dynamic content from posts. You can order and filter your posts with the Layers -> Content -> Dynamic layer -> Configure post options section. You can arrange and categorize the posts as you like them there. Please note that currently these filters are global accross all slides, and you can only use one post per slide.

    Hi Attila,

Thank you so much again. We can see this definitely work in the preview of the slider, but it's still not showing up on the home page.

    1. Can you please have another look and help us see this? https://dev.ozskin.com/
    2. Also, is there any way we can ensure the text isn't cut off when we make it bigger?
    3. If we would like it to slow down, is this in the Duration of the Timing and Transition box. Sorry for the million questions, I just changed it to 5,000 and the pace was the same.

    Thank you,

    Alex

Thank you for the feedback. I seem to be able to reproduce the problem now, where the  layers are not appearing on your site. We'll have another look at it, why doesn't your front-end reflect the slider from the back-end and let you know.

Regarding the speed, since it's a layer you can change the timing and transitions in the Layers -> Transitions tab of the corresponding layers.

    Hello again,

It did not work on the main page, because you have selected the h1 and h2 layer types, but also applied h1 / h2 tags on the content inside the layer. This nesting is not necessary and it can cause problem. I have deleted them and it should be working fine now.

    Hello Alex,

My colleagues and I will look into this with your login, and get back to you.

    1. Unfortunately it's not completely clear what do you mean by that. Please explain it in more details or show us an example.

    2. We believe that the opening transition is too long, try to reduce its duration.

    3. We cannot find where you entered that CSS code. But you can simply add it to the Custom CSS field under the Styles tab of the corresponding layer.

Yes, you will only need to enter the actual styling settings there. You don't have to set elements or wrappers.

Regarding the transform origin option. This setting is described in details in its tooltip. Please hover over the option and read the description. I couldn't explain better than that here either.
