I'd like to update Layerslider WP, but I get an error.
I have to activate it, but then I getting an error with my product because it's in a theme.
Is there a way to update it while it's not activated?

If you've received LayerSlider as a bundled plugin in your theme, you cannot use your theme's purchase code to activate it as they are two separate products, item support and updates will be provided by the theme author in this case.
Alternatively, you can purchase a license from us, so we can provide our support services for you, along with our auto-update solution, beta and early access releases and exclusive offers for our direct buyers as well.

I already paid $55 for Avada and that included the LayerSlider, shouldn't Kreatura try to get the money from Avada instead of the clients? ...well that's my opinion.
The only thing I want is to get rid of the red (1) notification, I don't need the extra functions....
Is that possible?
