The environment is wordpress 4.8.2, the theme is storefront, the plugin is woocommerce. I am trying to create a slider homepage using Layer slider. I can now upload templates, I can install them in pages and I can show them on my site. However, I cannot edit or create new sliders. i found after digging around that the layer slider points to an empty gallery but it imports its templates into the correct wordpress media gallery. I can find all the template images in the media gallery i use for building the site. please assist. I am behind in my schedule now because of this.

    Hello Nathan Leslie,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

Problems with the saving method such as this, are usually related to server configuration issues unfortunately.

Please check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WordPress sidebar, for any error messages or notifications that could provide additional information on this case.

Did all that before I contacted you. Everything is green - GO. I downgraded back to version 6.4. All media directories are now fine but still cannot generate a new slider. The create button works but from there on - no settings, nothing works. Something is shutting your plugin down and honestly I don't have the time to troubleshoot it even though I like the plugin. I finally switched to Smart Slider - its free and guess what - it works for my needs. I think it has a conflict with woocommerce or with storefront but I need these for my project.

I see. If you set up a temporary WP login for us, we can investigate the problem further from the back-end to see if we can find anything.

You can download your license certificate from CodeCanyon at any time. Just navigate to your Downloads page, then find LayerSlider and choose the License certificate & purchase code option from Download button. Your Purchase Code is inside the downloaded text file.
