    Hello Melissa,

Thank you for getting in touch with us. My name is Attila and I'm happy to assist you today. I appreciate your patience while we've been working towards your ticket.

The slider resizes itself proportionally on all screen resoltuions, if the responsive mode is enabled. As I can see you have selected the Fixed size layout. This means that the slider will keep its size regardless of the viewing environment. I'd recommend to set it to Responsive layout instead in the Slider Settings. This should solve the problem.

In case you need further control over the different device displays, you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet) since version 6.
This new feature gives you the option to create separate layers and layouts for mobile and desktop view in the same slide, and only show them on the required device. Furthermore, you also have the option to set a minimum font size for texts on mobiles.

Additionally to the device specific layers, you could also build two sliders with different sizes or with different content for dekstop/mobile, include them both to the site, and only display them (using the Hide over and Hide under options) on the required device.

Regarding the error, problems with the saving method such as this, are usually related to server configuration issues unfortunately.
Please check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WordPress sidebar, for any error messages or notifications that could provide additional information on this case.
