Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I acquired the website and layer slider plugin needed updating. I purchased the plugin, but when reading thru the documentation I couldn't find where I insert the purchase license. It doesn't offer me in wp-admin a place to insert it.
No where in wp-admin does it give me the update box to put the purchase code.
Hello Amy Thompson,
It's possible that the LayerSlider that is installed on your site was bundled in a theme. Unfortunately some themes are restricting the update and/or activation method of the plugin that could result in problems like this.
I'd recommend to manually update the plugin by downloading the newest release from CodeCanyon and reinstalling LayerSlider.
You will need to completely remove the current version first, as there cannot be two instances of the plugin present on your installation.
Please note that your sliders and settings are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in the process.
You can find detaled installation instructions in the documentation, please refer to the following URL: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html#plugin-setup
After the reinstall, you will be able to activate it and use the auto-update as well for future updates.
