LayerSlider provides a built-in auto-update feature that becomes available after you enter your purchase code. You do not need any additional plugins to enable it.
Have you checked the link I've provided in my previous message ? It shows exactly where you can activate the plugin for the auto-update to become available, and how you can use it to update.
"After activation, LayerSlider updates will automatically appear on your site in the same way as any other WordPress update. You can check if there is a new version available on the WP sidebar -> Dashboard -> Updates or WP sidebar -> Plugins pages. A notification will also appear on the LayerSlider WP admin pages about new releases."
Please note that if you have installed the plugin with the package from CodeCanyon you have the latest version installed, and there is no need to update at the moment.
I'd like to know what plugin I should have gotten to enable auto update with my layer slider license key.
Just purchased the plugin and removed the old version that came with my envato theme. I would like it to auto update please.

I deleted the old plug-in uploaded the new one from envato, activated it but I did not see any pop up or auto update options come up.
