There's a widget code that I'm using on my pages and in modal elements which is working fine. When I paste the same code into the HTML part of a slider element it either doesn't show at all, or shows in the opposite orientation to what it is supposed to. I've attached the code in a text file to this ticket.
Basically it's a lead capture form where once submitted goes directly into my 'zenplanner' database (gym member management software). The form is on the same page at the bottom of the link I've included and working fine. It is also displays in a modal window activated by "GET A 2 WEEK FREE TRIAL!" button.
It should also display on the pop up slider but it either doesn't or displays incorrectly.
I've gone through Zenplanner and they are convinced it's your plug in making it not work.
All help to sort very much appreciated, I'd really like to utilise Layer Slider at numerous point in my website with this form embeded.
I have checked your slider but it seems like it does not contain the mentioned code currently. If you've removed it in the meantime, please set up a test page that you can leave up, so we can see and test it.
On a separate note, unfortunately we had some bad experience with forms loaded by these kind of scripts. In many cases the problems are caused by the code generated by the forms themselves. But we don't want to jump into conclusions without seeing it live, so we can tell you more once we have investigated the slider in question.
I can see a DIV layer that contains a script and another DIV that has 0 px height set. What exactly shoud appear on your site ?
I believe it might be a compatibility problem on your installation unfortunately. If you can set up a temporary WP login for us we can troubleshoot this futher.
I see now but unfortunately this will not work. The form that is supposed to appear would reach out of the slider's canvas and it wouldn't be responsive either. We're sorry but there are several factors preventing the proper implementation of this form.
I have tested the code locally, the button and its text fields appear properly that way.
However since these are not generated by the slider itself, they will not be responsive no matter what.
Unfortunately there is no good solution for this, as we cannot overwrite or control other plugins' codes or their generated output.
An alternate option would be to manually rebuild this whole layout and effect with the slider's built-in options, that way it would be correctly responsive.
So in basic terms it's down to it not being Responsive that it doesn't show correctly?
I'd be happy to rebuild using the slider options but I assume it wouldn't work directly with my database and it would only send an email as an output from the form submitting?
Many thanks for your support Attila, it's very much appreciated.
Unfortunately this form in its current state will not work. The code that it generates will not be responsive, or visible in certain cases inside the slider. We're sorry about the inconveniences but we cannot control other plugin's codes from our end so this will not work properly.
Hey Guys
Searched articles, etc.
Deactivated all other plug-ins
created test page
Still have an issue.
