Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. I want to use a background for my whole slider. I do not want it to change with each slide. I see that there's an overall slider setting for background image. I've used that and although I've set that background image to "cover" it continues to sit centered on the screen.
Furthermore, what I'd truly like to do is to set a video background for all of the slides in this slider, not just an image.
Any help you have for me is much appreciated.
I changed the global background size from cover to 100% auto and now it covers the space. So that's great.
I would still like to use a video background in the global settings so that it continues to move in the background through the whole slideshow. Thanks.

At the moment there is no option to set a global video background for the slider, only in individual slides.
As an alternate solution you could add the video as a normal layer (not background), set its fillmode to cover and apply 100% x 100% size in the Styles tab for a similar look. And then make it static (Keep this layer visible...) so it won't transition out on slide change.
