Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I have created a slider with a looping background video and then several fading text layers over the duration of the slide. The video file is formatted for mobile and compressed to phone settings. The video slider looks great on a desktop machine, but appears to not show at all on mobile. Am I missing a setting in the formatting for this? This is on henkeldenmark.com. For some reason, I could not place this URL in the related URL field.
And no, hide on mobile is not selected. I have gone through all the settings several times already.
Hey ThomasWalkerDesign,
Unfortunately the video displays are quite limited on mobile browsers, due to certain mobile browser restrictions the autoplay will not work so your videos won't start automatically.
Even if you start the video manually by clicking it, it will be opened in a popup iframe window so it will not provide the same effect as it does on desktop.
Is there a way to show the video slide on desktops but show a regular slideshow on phones and tablets?
Since version 6 you have the option to display layers only on certain devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
This new feature gives you the option to create separate layouts for mobile and desktop view in the same slide and only show them on the required device.
You can import the Interactive demo slider from the Template Store as an example, it utilizes this feature.
