This is GoDaddy's staging area, where the plugin is working properly: http://5b1.db7.myftpupload.com/
I've created an ID for you to troubleshoot the problem. ID=kreatura PW=my activation code

This is the site in production, where the plugin will not activate:

    Hey christopherdawes,

Judging from the error message you are most likely using an old version of PHP.

LayerSlider requires at least PHP version 5.3 or newer to function properly. I see you've mentioned that your PHP version is 5.6, but the error message suggests otherwise.

Please contact your hosting provider again, ask them to take a look at the PHP version being used currently and request an update to solve this. Alternatively you can also update/change it manually, in case your hosting provides you with an admin interface that offers this option.
