We have recently ran into a similar problem and we believe that your case might be related. I've attached a slightly modified version of one of the plugin files. Please copy that file into the /wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/classes/ folder on your server via FTP and override the file with the same name. It might help with your case as well.
