Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I'm having an issue with having multiple sliders on one page. It seems to freeze the entire browser (any browser) when I have more than 1 now. I haven't had this problem with any previous version yet.
I left a link with the homepage on the development site I'm having trouble with.
Hey Kake,
I have checked your site but for me the browsers do not freeze. I have tested it in Chrome, Firefox and IE so far.
Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?
In case not, could you please specify on what OS/browser/device are you experiencing this exactly ?
Yes, I'm not 100% sure what I did, but I manipulated some options and made sure each one had content in them and that seemed to fix the problem. Now I have a new problem with the meta shortcode for pulling dynamic content from posts. It's not pulling any meta information for any post whatsoever.
Also, as a side question, is there a way to have a static layer that doesn't transition on each slide? Or is that not built in as of yet?
Yes, there is an option to create static layers. You can find the setting for it in the Layers -> Transition -> Other settings -> Keep this layer visible.
Where, in which slider can we check the dynamic layer problem exactly ?
It looks like I figured out the solution to that. I needed to get rid of the carets around the example shortcode in the slider. It would be for the home page slider Testimonials, but I got the meta data (the author name) to show up.
Thank you very much for the info on static layers as well! Very helpful! I'm satisfied and you can close this ticket.
Thank you for the feedback, glad you could solve the problem. If you need further assistance please let us know.
