I am trying to add a video background to my site and every time I go to save once the embed code is added I get this error
It seems there is a server issue that prevented LayerSlider from saving your work. Please check LayerSlider -> System Status for potential errors, try to temporarily disable themes/plugins to rule out incompatibility issues or contact your hosting provider to resolve server configuration problems. Your HTTP server thrown the following error: \n\n Forbidden
I can make sliders with images or text, but not video. After I add the embed code and try to save, even if I delete the embed code and go to save, I get these error. I contacted my hosting provider (BlueHost) and they can't find anything on their end that would cause this. I know other people successfully using LayerSlider with the Enfold theme using video backgrounds, so I know it works. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.
Additional notes:
All plugins except the LayerSlider have been turned off and it still gives me this error.
This is a brand new Wordpress install and site with no content.
Judging from the error message, unfortunately it is most likely a server configuration issue.
Please check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WP sidebar for any related error messages that could provide more information.
And just to make sure that it's not a compatibility problem, please try to temporary switch to a default WordPress theme to see if that solves the issue.
I just started running into the exact same issue. Trying to add a new slide with a video. Incrementally I've saved it as I was building it to confirm it's when adding video. I added the slide background (SAVED), added a text element (SAVED). However, as soon as I paste the YouTube embed code in, I get that same error

And then it stops saving anything. I have to refresh the page to reload it before It will save anything else. I have the latest version of LayerSlider 6. I changed to a default WP theme and deactivated all other plugins and still running into error message when adding video. I checked LayerSlider > Status page and it shows all systems go. What type of server configuration would cause this? We haven't done anything to the server? Any other suggestions what "\n\n Forbidden" means?
I found the fix. This site has WordFence installed. It wasn't active but as soon as I activated all my plugins there was a message from WordFence that asked to "Whitelist" the action of saving the slide. Once I did that, the slide saved just fine. That seems to have fixed the issue on my end.

I had to completely delete it.
