I also have the same problem... I only have installed The LayerSlider plugin and we can't delete "slides" or duplicate "sliders"... could you tell me something?

    Hey Pere Perelló,

I believe that it is going to be a conflict problem on your installation or a server configuration issue unfortunately. There is no known issue like this in version 6.5.1. so it's most likely a localized problem on your end.

To start troubleshooting please try to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default theme to see if that solves the issue.

Please also check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WP sidebar for any related error messages that could provide more information.

    Hi Attila!

I've being checking the LayerSlider System Status two or three days before, and it shows me the following error message (see attached file):

I've done the suggestion (re-install), but it still shows me the same error message.

I need delete one Slide, do you know some other way to temporary solve this problem?

    Many thanks!!!

The System Status errors should not affect the plugin this way so it is most likely a conflict.

Unfortunately reinstalling the plugin is not a solution in this case when there is a conflict on your WP installation, it will still persist as the circumstances are the same.

Have you tried to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default WP theme ?

At the moment there is no other option to delete slides.

Furthermore, the problem is not related to WP the 4.8. release. After some more investigation we believe that it could be a database issue as well. And your hosting will need to update the database to solve this.

But currently this is a guess, please follow up with the earlier suggested instructions (temporary disable/switch).

In case the trial and error method does not help either, please enable the WP debug mode and set up a temporary WP login for us, so we can troubleshoot it further.
