    Team, I have just purchased a seat of Layer Slider for my wordpress site, but it's not activating. 

    First attempt was updating and activating directly from within WP plugins page. It dowloaded fine, but when I activated it, my whole WP site went down.

    I went manually to my WP plugins folder and renamed my LayerSlider folder, so WP came back live. Then I tried to install LayerSlider by uploading the ZIP file I purchased from EnvatoMarket (codecanyon). Upload worked fine, but again when I tried to activate the plugin I got an error messaging referring to a funcion in plugins/LayerSlider/classes/class.ls.popup.php, line 173

    Can you please help?

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/storage/0/95/a7/marcioreispinto/public_html/go/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/classes/class.ls.popups.php on line 173

    Nevermind - solved when I updated PHP to 5.6. Thanks anyway. Best, Marcio
