There is no known issue such as this in the latest release (6.5.1.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict problem on your installation or a server configuration issue. To start troubleshooting please try to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default theme to see if that solves the issue. Please also check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WP sidebar for any related error messages that could provide more information.
We do not have any other plugins installed. Just not sure how this is possible - as it would not delete a particular slide and Save. No exceptions reported also on console??
I also have the same problem... I only have installed The LayerSlider plugin and we can't delete "slides" or duplicate "sliders"... could you tell me something?
Please navigate to the Plugins WP menu, click on the LayerSlider and deactivate it. After that activate it again immediately. This runs the database scripts again and should solve this problem.
I've tried all... only LayerSlider plugin was activated, also I've changed to a basic Theme, and I re-install the LayerSlider... but the problem persist!!!
I have detected this problem exactly after updating to Wordpress 4.8... coincidence?
I'll try an other plugin, just to test if it's can run under my blog...
We are trying to delete a slide and it has stopped working since your last update. Please advise problem?

We found the problem is with wp_layerslidertable column flag_popup was missing somhow??
