Activation not possible, external connection already allowed for repository.kreaturamedia.com. firewall already disabled, ip binding disabled yet no possible activation of plugin. Very disappointing all the work needed to make it work

    Hey Yanko,

There is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.5.1.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict problem on your installation or a server configuration issue.
To start troubleshooting please try to temporary disable other plugins and switch to a default theme to see if that solves the issue.
Please also check the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WP sidebar for any related error messages that could provide more information.

Hello, I know it is easier to blame it on someone else bythecubes yours is the only plugin installed an no error are shown on the system status. Please explain what the activation process is done we can fix this.

Can you please help with this issue? it really cannot be that hard! just state what are the conditions for this to work.

    thank you

These kind of activation issues are usually related to server limitations and/or filters. Please set up a temporary WP login for us so we can troubleshoot it from the back-end. Make sure to set the message to private so others can't see the credentials.

According to you this is a server issue, why would you need a WordPress back office login? Furthermore, why would you not be able to describe the optimal conditions for this to work? Filters and firewalls in the server have been disabled along with permissions set to allow MySQL connections from your server and nothing has changed, port 3306 is open in server so even if this is a server configuration issue you should be able to explain what are the requirements to be set. I am unfortunately not comfortable with allowing access to the server so we'll have to find another solution.

In case we had access to your WP admin and the WP debug mode was also enabled, we could test and troubleshoot several factors and things. I believe it would be quite impractical to list every potential issue and detail that we would look for beforehand. Basically, the main goal would be to look for any PHP or other kind of error and their exact error messages.

If your host provides you with access to the PHP/Apache logs, you can check these yourself as well. However in most cases this is not a trivial task, as there could be a large amount of irrelevant surrounding entries.

There isn't any special condition required by LayerSlider, but unfortunately we cannot provide you with simple optimal settings. As we are talking about thousands of potential settings for each component that are also affected by the installed softwares and their version numbers.

However, we have tested your purchase code further and it seems like the problem is caused by that the Envato API (which is used to verify your code for activation) does not have proper data on the buyer. It cannot tell to whom does this license belong exactly (buyer data) and that is why the activation fails.

Is your Envato/CodeCanyon account that was used for the purchase still live ? Or is it suspended or temporary denied for ongoing sale reversal by any chance ? I believe that these conditions could also cause this issue.

In the meantime we have applied a temporary solution. The plugin now ignores the missing buyer data so you should be able to activate it. Please try again to see if it works properly now.

It took you a while but you figured  it out. It was the en ate api as you stated. Thank you.
