Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

LayerSlider will not install on my site. Receiving the following error:

    ------------------------------------------------------

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

    Plugin install failed.

    ------------------------------------------------------

I have disabled all other plugins but receive the same error. What version of PHP is required to run this plugin? I have PHP v5.2.

    Hey ifpgGary,

You have to decompress the archive that you downloaded from CodeCanyon and use the installable zip inside it.

  • ifpgGary replied

Sorry about that. Unfortunately, I have another issue. When I install the plugin I receive the following error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Could it be that I am using PHP v5.2?

  • ifpgGary replied

If the plugin does not work with sites running PHP 5.2 I am going to need to request a refund. Upgrading PHP is not an option for our site.

The latest subversion of PHP 5.2 is more than 8 years old now. Also, it did not receive any security fixes in the past 4 years.
It is really not recommended to use that old version and we strongly suggest to update it.

But in case you want to stick with that version we can offer you a refund naturally.

We must stick with PHP 5.2 for now. Please authorize refund. Thank you.

Please open a refund request from your Envato profile then. We can only accept it that way.
