Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Hi, taking over a website that was created for a client. It was running LayerSlider 5 which is coming up flagged as having vulnerabilities, so I just purchased the latest version and need to update it. Can you tell me the easiest way? Simply FTP the files and replace the existing? Or are there any changes I need to know about before updating?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jeanette

    Hey Jeanette,

There are multiple methods available, you can either use the built-in auto-update solution of the plugin to update, or you can manually reinstall it with the package that you download from CodeCanyon. The FTP method is also possible.

Every method is described step by step in the documentation, please refer to the following URL: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html#plugin-setup

Thanks for the quick reply!  There was no auto-update on the plugin, but I updated manually and it's all good now.

    Thanks again for your help,

    Jeanette
