I know I can hide my slider on mobile devices. But it seems all the js/css files still load and the slider images still load. My slider is quite heavy so I'd really like it to not load any of those files on mobile devices. Is this possible?
Can you clarify what you mean by "when a slider is hidden, only a limited amount of images are loaded,"? How many get loaded? And is there a way to completely stop them from loading on mobile devices?
Unfortunately at the moment you cannot change or completely stop this behavior from happening. Images will still be loaded when a slider is hidden. But as I've mentioned we are planning to improve this method in the upcoming releases, so there won't be any unecessary data traffic. Thank you for your understanding and sorry the inconveniences.

Hey Tim,
Currently when a slider is hidden, only a limited amount of images are loaded, making it less heavy.
Regardless, we are planning to improve this behaviour further in the upcoming releases to make even less data traffic when the slider is hidden.

Is there an estimated date for the release when this will be implemented?
Unfortunately I cannot provide you with an ETA for this update yet.
