Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I have tried disabling plugins and other things, but none of the sliders appear on my pages or posts when I insert the shortcodes or the through the button.
I am running Elegant Themes Extra theme and perhaps it doesn't work with that. If this is the case, I can't change my theme. What can I do?
Hey timothyvail,
Could you please show us your site or a test page where we can check this ?
As I mentioned, nothing shows up on any page, it is just a blank space. I didn't post it to a public page because I am testing it. Is there a fix or have you heard of this before with Extra theme from Elegantthemes?
There is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.3). I believe the source of the problem is likely a misconfiguration or a conflict on your installation.
Even if nothing shows up on your site I could still look for clues in the console and the page's source code about why the slider does not appear properly. But unfortunately without seeing the problem I cannot really tell what might be wrong.
Is there a way you can temporary upload it to a test page or grant access for us to check it ?
I see what you mean. Can you diagnose from the console and source code?
Anyhow, here is the test page with the slider on it.

Are you working on this? Is there any update on a fix?
I have checked the test page and there are jQuery errors (jQuery is not defined) in the console. This usually means that your jQuery is not loaded or not in the right way. LayerSlider needs it be loaded in the header to be able to display the slider properly.
Please check if you're using the Rocketscript feature of Cloudflare, as it messes with jQuery and could easily interfere with any plugin.
In case you do not use Rocketscript, please try to use the Put JS includes to body advanced setting to see if that helps.
Yes, rocket loader is on in my cloudflare settings. I just disalbed it and the slider is working now, is there a way I can load the Jquery with it?
We have included a potential solution to problems like this with Rocketloader to the latest release (6.4). Please update the plugin to see if that solves the jQuery issue you are experiencing with Rocketloader.
