I have small spaces at the sides of the full-width slider. It has never happened before with this same theme, so I don't know what's going one. Can you tell me?

You will need to set the Background Size option to Cover or Stretch, so the background image will cover the slider's canvas no matter the screen resolution or viewing environment.
