Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2025, to January 4th, 2026, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Message that shows when I try to update LayerSlideWP from 6.1.6 v to 6.3.0 v : "PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature"

    Hey Frapel,

This error message suggests that the zip file you are trying to use became corrupted or broken somehow, most likely through the downloading process. Please try to download it again and use that package for the install/update.

    Thanks !!! It worked !!!

Hello again Attila, it seems I can't update LayerSlideWP to its 6.4.0. version. This is the message: " PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature". It happened again... could you help me? Thanks in advance.

I belive the problem could be related to a server configuration issue. Please check the LayerSlider System Status. Is there any error message ? Do you have the PHP ZipArchive Extension installed ?

  • Frapel replied

PHP ZipArchive Extension is enabled. Error Message: PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure. The same thing that happened last time. Shall I do the same? I mean download it again and use the package for the update?

We have looked into this but couldn't locate any issue in the auto-update system. We still believe that it's going to be a server related problem unfortunately. In any case, we are going to investigate it further to see if we can find anything.

In the meantime you can apply the same method you have used before, downloading the new version from CodeCanyon and manually update. The Envato admins have just accepted the update so you can access it there as well now.
