It's very uncomfortable to update plugin on my site using WP plugin repository. Every time I receiving message : An error occurred while updating LayerSlider WP:The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure.
As far as I know, it happening because you providing non statnard archive structure. Please, fix it.
We are not using non-standard archive structures. Judging from the error message, there is most likely a server related issue preventing the update from working properly. Please check the LayerSlider System Status for any related error messages.
Have you checked the LayerSlider System Status that I've suggested ? Are there any errors or notifications displayed that could be related ?
It's also possible that there was an error during the update and the plugin files became corrupted somehow. Please try to update again, we did not receive other reports of problems with the new update.
If it's still not working on your end, I'd recommend to download the latest version from CodeCanyon and manually reinstall it. Your sliders and settings are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in this process.
