Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
How can I force my audio html tag to SHOW controls…. this doesn’t work for me. They show for a second and then disappear – using chrome – this page: http://h2sco.wpengine.com/

And to clarify – the controls show when the audio file is “off screen” – as soon as I scroll on screen it plays and removes controls.

I’ve paused the autoplay – so you can test – but basically if you push play it disappears no matter what settings are in place.
Any word here?
Hey michaelswilder,
Sorry for the delayed response, we have had some issues with the ticksy servers so we were not able to get back to you in time.
You can enable or disable the media controls in the Video / Audio layer type section. Also, I have checked the URL you provided but I do not see or hear any audio being used in the slider at the moment. Could you please specify where can we check this error ?
Hi, please scroll down to this section (see attached)
Upper left are the controls - when I click play, they disappear. If I have it set to autoplay, as soon as I scroll to this section it plays - but then the controls disappear again.
Controls are set to show - I've spent 8 hours troubleshooting, trying to inject jQuery attr modifiers - nothing works. No matter what - some JavaScript file is telling it to hide the controls when it plays, every time.
Thank you for the feedback. We have investigated this further and managed to locate the problem. There is a minor bug in the plugin causing this. We will address this problem and release the fix in an upcoming update. Thank you for your understanding and sorry for any inconvenience.
Thank you - what's the ETA on a release?
Unfortunately I cannot provide you with a date yet. We are already working on the fix and will include it to an update as soon as we can.
Any update here? :)
