Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I just want to make the images in my slider clickable links to the specific posts they are from...how do I do this?!

    Thank you in advance

    Hey ashlylorenzana,

You can link layers with the 'Linking' field under the 'Link & Attributes' tab in the 'Layers' section. You can also link post URLs this way.

I've tried to do that repeatedly and it doesn't work for me. It breaks the slider completely and I get a fatal error message on the page with the shortcode for the slider.

Could you please set up a test page with the problematic slider where we can investigate this issue ?

Sorry for the delayed response. The support desk's operator had some issues with their servers and it is also affecting us.

Regarding the fatal error, you will have to contact your hosting provider with it. If you show them the error message they will know what to do to help you fix it. Please also check the LayerSlider System Status located on the WP sidebar to see if there are any additional errors.

I already tried contacting my web host and was told there were no server errors and that it is a CODE issue. They told me to contact the developer of the plugin.

  • [deleted] replied

It is not a code issue. The mb_ereg_match function is not available on your server. This PHP function is part of the Multibyte String PHP Extension. This module is not enabled or not configured properly on your server, therefore the issue. Your hosting provider could also see this if they read the error message at all.

The error message contains every information they need to solve this problem.

Thank you for the specific details. I will go back to my host support and give them the information.
