Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

Saving Slider

    Hi there,

I am having trouble saving anything within the slider plugin. I have started working on sliders based from a imported template and when I save them it says that the slider has been saved. When I go back to the main screen of the sliders and click on slider I was working on, nothing is saved. The only thing that saves is the name of the slider.

As suggested, I have tried deactivating all other plugins to see if that fixes the problem and it does not.

I am using the mega theme (https://themeforest.net/item/mega-creative-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/13570653) on the site, which says it is "layer slide widget ready" and has an element in it's page builder specifically for the slider.

I'm not sure if it is a problem with the slider or the theme or something.

Please let me know any suggestions.

    Thank you.

    -Sam

    Hey Samantha,

There is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.2.2.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict or server configuration problem on your installation.
Please try to temporary switch to a default WP theme to see if that solves the issue. Please also check the System Status, located on the WP sidebar for any related error message.

    Hi Attila,

Thank you for the response. There are no error messages in the System Status. If i switch from the theme I am currently using, which is mostly page builder based, to the default WP theme and then switch it back will I lose any content? Just wanted to make sure.

    Thanks.

There shouldn't be any problems by switching themes. Your sliders are stored in the database, so they won't be deleted even if the plugin is manually reinstalled for example.

I'm having this same problem. Saving the slider is wiping everything out.
