I looked through the documentation but did not find any description of the different slider types. They also do not have tooltips. I think "Fixed Size" is obvious. But what are the differences between "Responsive" "Full Width" and "Full Size"?

    Thanks

    Hey Deva,

The Responsive mode is used for 'normal' sliders that are not fullwidth or fullscreen. With this layout you can apply any custom size (width and height) for the slider so you can shape and position it freely anywhere (in,under, between other elements) on your site.

The Full Width layout will always stretch the slider's width to the sides of the borwser window or to the sides of the slider's container, depending on your settings.

The Full Size mode will make the slider cover the whole browser screen, both width and height. But it also has additional types like Hero Scene.

You can find examples of these layouts in form of demo sliders in the Template Store. You can filter by layouts and import them to see what settings we used and how we set them up exactly.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply...

Full Size does not cover whole screen. It covers width regardless of whether it is in a smaller container, but the page header is still there above the slider.

Also, what does Hero Scene do?

I would prefer the documentation describe these parameters rather than having to install a bunch of demo sliders to find out what say Hero Scene does.

    Cheers

The slider's layout depends on the Fullsize Mode you have selected and also on where or in what element do you insert it, so it's possible that it does not cover the header or the whole screen in certain cases. If you could show us your site or a test page with the slider we can check on it.

The Hero Scene will always match the slider's height to the viewport, so it will always cover 100% of the browser window's height, regardless of the viewing environment.
