Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

We have been using your product on a few of our sites without any issues. We have noted after one of your more recent updates that the layer slider does not display/perform smooth in Chrome or Safari, but works just fine in Firefox. It sort of flickers before displaying the transition. You can visit www.copperminefitness.com or www.copperminefieldhouse.com for samples from our homepage. Older demo sites (not public) with your older plugin still perform properly. I work along with our website expert Navid on these sites - he is the one who does the more sophisticated coding and setup. He could not located any reason for the issue and assumed it might be fixed with a future update - but the Coppermine CEO would like this resolved. Navid's email is [email protected] and mine is [email protected]

We would like your input on this issue please. and Thank You!

    Hey Timothy,

Are you using any cache plugin/solution or custom .htacess rule on your site ?

It seems like your webserver does not allow the plugin to cache images, because of this the images are being downloaded every time they are used (slide background, slide transition, etc) and this is why the slider flashes.

Thank You. This has helped us pin point the issue and it has now been resolved by our team. We had previously adjusted the cache to address issues with page content refreshing for end users. But, we now see this caused the images to download every time for layerslider - as you explain. This issue is resolved. Thank you for your help.
