Updated slider to latest version and now the slider no longer is full width. It was fine until the update. No matter what I choose, fixed, responsive, full width, the slider does not fill the width.
I put the background to stretch and for now that fills up the background, but this is a workaround. I was OK with the background being flexible with the "cover" setting, but "cover" no longer seems to work
There was no change in the plugin regarding slider layouts and background sizes, the update didn't affect this method. Could you please show us a test page with the problematic slider where we can see the error to investigate it ?
Duplicated the slider and set the background to "cover" -- as you can see the background doesn't size correctly. Only using stretch can I get the background to fill.
I have checked the slider on the URL you provided but the background size is set to 'auto' not to 'cover'. Also, you are using a global background image, please note that it will not scale proportionally so it will not be responsive.
Please check if you have used the correct settings you have mentioned, as they are not showing on the front-end. It is also possible that a cache plugin or solution is preventing the changes you make to the slider resulting in this error.
I have set the background to "cover" and attached a screen cap of the setting. The slider is set to "responsive". I also tried "full width" but the same result. The background is not filling the slider. There isn't a cache plugin being used on this site.
Ah sorry my mistake, I was checking the homepage. However on the testpage the slider is still not set to cover, at least not on the front-end. It is currently using the default auto value for slide background size.
Are you sure that there is no caching preventing this change ? Or that you are editing the correct slider (ID7) ?
If the issue persists please set up a temporary WP login for us so we can investigate it on the back-end. Make sure to set the message to private so other users can't see the credentials.
It might be related to the export but it's not likely in my opinion. Could you please set up a temporary WP login for us so we can take a look at this issue in the back-end ?
Will do but now I have a more important problem on another site. I added 3d transitions -- which worked, but now I can't remove them. I want to make them 2D transitions again. They remain 3D even in the preview of the slider. I deleted the cache in Avada and for the Slider settings.

OK I found the issue. "Cover" now has to be set on each slide individually. Inherit doesn't work.
Hey joev,
Thank you for the feedback, glad you could solve the problem. We will take a look at the option.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Sorry to say another site is now broken after the 6.2 update and I can't fix it.

I have checked your site but for me the slide background is filling the slider at the moment.
Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?
The test page in my browser does not have the background not covering -- the green color is showing:

The non-test page (regular URL) is using the stretch setting for the background. Cover does not work.

The 3D transitions are priority over the 2D ones. So as long as there is a 3D animation selected it will be displayed over the 2D transitions.
Please check again and make sure that there is no 3D or Origami animation selected for your slides.
