Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

I have a Plugin Update issue. Each attempt at updating the plugin results in an error message – Update Failed: Update package not available.

I deactivated the plugin, downloaded the updated plugin from my Download page at code canyon, and tried to upload it from my Add Plugins page, but keep getting this error:

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: codecanyon-1362246-layerslider-responsive-wordpress-slider-plugin-wordpress-plugin.zip

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/fintech7/public_html/hanovermc.com/wp-content/plugins/LayerSlider/

    Plugin install failed.

I was told by Attila - Kreatura Media Support On 2017.02.10. 21:48:37 to disable first and then delete the current version of LayerSlider as there cannot be two instances of the same plugin present on my installation. I was also told that my sliders and settings are stored in the database so they won't be deleted in the process.

I disabled the plugin. Then clicked delete, but a warning popped up asking “Are you sure you want to delete LayerSlider WP and its data?

Are you certain that my sliders and settings are stored in the database and won't be deleted in the process?

    Please confirm.

    Thank you,

    David

    Hello David,

Yes, as I've mentioned in my earlier email messages, the sliders and their settings are stored in the database. Manually reinstalling the plugin will not affect them.
