Limited availability during the holidays

Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.

We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!

When users are looking at this site on mobile, its showing a question mark over the video. The video is currently set at a background. There is also some white area that seems to be a padding issue, but not sure if that is related or not.

    Hey theonlybob,

I have checked your site using an iPhone device but for me there is no question mark over the slider at the moment.

Have you managed to fix the problem in the meantime ?

In case not, could you please specify on what OS/browser/device are you experiencing this exactly ?
Also, could you please elaborate on the padding problem as well, where should we see it etc.

Sorry, apparently this is desktop version not mobile. Attached is a screenshot.

    This is from my client:

running Mac OSX 10.12.3 on my MacBook Pro.  I only see the question mark on Safari on the computer.  I don’t see the question mark on my iPhone which is running 10.2.1 (14D27)

As I can see you are pulling the slide background image from a dynamic post. The slider probably cannot find any content based on your settings (post options) and that is why the background is missing and there a question mark instead of it.

In case you have added it by mistake, you will need to manually set a normal slide background and delete the current one.

Please also note that if you have a video background it will overlap the slide background image.

im not sure i understand this. I do have the slider as a background. i did have some css code to add a still image for mobile, but i removed that. Would you be able to be more specific?

I did not mean the slider's position on your site, rather the slider's own background image.
The problem is that you are generating the slide background image from a dynamic post that does not seem to be available or to have any content.

I dont have anything in my page widget, and the only thing in the layerslider is the video as a background and a layer for the text. Where in the layerslider would i see a "dynamic content".

You have most likely clicked on the 'Use post image' button by mistake in the Slide Background Image area of the Slide Options section. And that is why the slider tries to pull a dynamic image from a post causing this error.

Please remove the slide background image entirely by pressing the 'red cross' button at the top right corner of the background image. It is possible that the 'red cross' button does not appear since the image it's trying to pull does not exist in the first place. In this case you will need to manually add an image from your Media Library that will overwrite it and then you can remove that one. Once you've deleted it this issue should no longer persist.
