the first time i installed layer slider it caqme with initial sliders. now the dummy content pages never work where am i supposed to get the initial sliders for the dummy content. I installed the layerslider sql entries but i can't find the default sliders for the dummy content.
Are you referring to the demo sliders ? Since version 6 they can be accessed and imported from the Template Store. The Template Store button is located at the top of the sliders list.
I'm sorry but I'm not sure I follow. What dummy temaplates are you referring to exactly ? Every available demo slider can be imported from the Template Store.
when you import the dummy content from mikmag (i guess i should ask them wich sliders they took) it makes pages for you but where the layersliders are supposed to be it gives an error message as it cannot fid the sliders. Mikmag must know wich ones are used

Are you experiencing problems importing demo sliders from the Template Store ? Is there an issue in the admin area where you try to edit the sliders ? Or do you have problem inserting the sliders to your live site ?

where do i upload the demo files to for the demo sliders
You do not have to upload any demo files.
The demo sliders are available in the Template Store. You can import all of them from there.
The Template Store button is located at the top of your slider's list.
