When i add text to my slider it lays a gray line across the page sort of behind the text but a little above, see the pages on the site to understand what I am saying.
I have checked your site and managed to locate the problem. The issue is caused by your theme, it is applying a custom style (in the style.css) on the layers (.ls-layer) inside the slider.
As the issue is not generated on our end, we cannot solve it unfortunately. You will need to contact the author of your theme and request a solution for this. They should be able to provide you with a way where this overwrite can be prevented.
Interesting as I bought this plug after I followed a link from my theme to Envato Market where by I purchased the plugin from.
Might all be too hard to have that fixed, I will either look at another plugin and see if that works or build another site I guess as I am not happy with it being too hard to edit anyway
The adjustment to fix this shouldn't be too complicated, just a quick edit in the css files. We have also contacted your theme author to let them know about this issue.
There are multiple sources available you check that will help you get started using LayerSlider. You can import the demo sliders from the Template Store to see what settings we used and how we set them up exactly. You can also read the tooltips with descriptions of the settings by hovering over each one of them. The documentation also contains useful information and examples that you can check and read on the following url: https://support.kreaturamedia.com/docs/layersliderwp/documentation.html

http://hsnsigns.com.au/about/ shows this issue easiest.
I was having trouble knowing the terminology for it to search for the solution
