Limited availability during the holidays
Another busy year is coming to its end, and an exciting year lies ahead. In order to get ready for a fresh new start, our team will spend a few days' rest during the winter holidays. Over the holiday break, we will have reduced staffing from December 20th, 2024, to January 5th, 2025, so please be patient if you do not receive a response as quickly as you normally would.
We send our warmest wishes for happiness, health, and success throughout the coming year. Thank you for your continued support, and may you have a peaceful and blessed Happy Holidays!
I use layerslider with Creativo for WordPress.
When I try to create a slider, the slider doesn't save. Even the one that came with the theme VANISHED when I made changes to it then saved. When I create a slider then go to edit a page and try to add the slider, it says 'no sliders found,' and when I got back to the dashboard to look, any slider I've created s GONE.
I experimented with turning off caching plugins to see if that mae any difference.
LayerSlider->System showed no errors.
Hey TheRIFT,
There is no issue like this present in the latest release of our plugin (6.1.6.), so unfortunately it is most likely a conflict problem or server issue on your installation.
To start troubleshooting please try to temporary disable other plugins (not just caching) and switch to a default theme as well to see if that solves the issue.
Also, are all notifications green in the LayerSlider System Status, located on the WP sidebar ?
We even tried turning off all other plugins using a default theme to no avail. The server settings all have green checkmarks.
Please create a temporary WP login for us, so we can investigate this problem further.
Make sure to set the message to private so others can't see it.
I have logged in, created a test slider and was able to save it and the changes I've made to it as well.
Are you still experiencing this problem ? I do not seem to be able to recreate the issue on my end.
Wow. Looks like it could have been a server issue but my hosting company wouldn't admit to it, then went ahead and fixed it, perhaps.
Thanks for everything!
Thank you for the feedback, glad you could solve the problem. If you need further assistance please let us know.
